Terms of service
The ground rules for using this site and for working with me.
This site and the services on it are run by KW Consulting LLC, a Maryland company owned by Kate Webb. On this page, “I”, “me” and “KW Consulting” all mean KW Consulting LLC, the company you’re agreeing with, and “you” means you or the business you work for. By using this site or booking a call, you agree to these terms. If you have a question about anything here, email kate@kwconsults.com.
Your agreement comes first
Before any paid work starts, you get a written proposal and agreement with the scope, the price and the terms. That signed agreement is what governs our work together. If anything in it differs from this page, the signed agreement wins.
Prices on this site
Prices on this site are starting points. Your exact price is in your proposal, in writing, before anything starts. I can change the prices shown here at any time, but a change never affects an agreement you’ve already signed.
Retainers and payment
Monthly services run for a three month minimum unless your agreement says otherwise. Invoices are sent and paid through HoneyBook, on the schedule in your agreement. If a payment is late, I may pause the work until it’s paid.
What you look after
LinkedIn outreach runs from your own account, so you keep that account in good standing, pay for any tools it needs (such as Sales Navigator), and follow LinkedIn’s own rules. You give me accurate information about your business and your buyers, and you take the calls and conversations that come from the work.
Results
I work hard to get you real conversations with the right people, and I’ll always tell you honestly how things are going. But replies, meetings and sales depend on many things I don’t control, so I can’t guarantee a particular number of any of them.
Who owns what
Once it’s paid for, the messages, lists and reports I make for you are yours to keep and use. My own methods, templates, tools and know-how stay mine, and I may keep using them for other clients.
Confidentiality
I keep your business information, your contacts and your conversations private, and use them only to do the work.
Using this site
You’re welcome to read, share and link to anything here. Please don’t copy the site’s content and present it as your own. The journal and guides are general information, not advice for your specific situation.
Limits
This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, I’m not responsible for indirect or lost-profit losses from using it. For paid work, my total responsibility is limited to what you paid me in the three months before the issue, unless your agreement says otherwise.
Other services and links
Some of the work runs on other companies’ tools, such as LinkedIn, HoneyBook and Kit, and this site links to other websites. Those are governed by their own terms, and I’m not responsible for how they work or what they change.
If something goes wrong
If you’re unhappy with anything, please email me first and we’ll try to sort it out directly. If we can’t, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Maryland.
The rest of these terms
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of them straight away doesn’t mean I’ve given it up.
Changes
If these terms change, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
